Getting started

Create your first resume

Pick a template, answer a few setup questions and start editing with a live preview.

Updated October 8, 2026

You can start right away in your browser. No account is needed to build and preview a resume.

  1. Open Templates and choose a design. You can change it later without losing anything you wrote.
  2. Fill in the basics: your name, job title and contact details. They go at the top of your resume.
  3. Tell us your target role and experience level, then choose how to start: from scratch or with sample content you replace.
  4. The editor opens. Write on the left, see the result on the right. Everything saves automatically.
Tip: Short on time? Use “Skip setup” and go straight to the editor. You can fill the same fields there.

What you see in the editor

  • Content (left): every section of your resume, in order, with a status for each one. AI writing help opens right under the text it works on.
  • Preview (center): the real pages, exactly as they will be saved as PDF.
  • Design (right): template, colors, font, spacing and pages. Fold it to a slim icon bar when you want more room.
  • ATS report (top bar): checks your resume the way applicant tracking systems read it and shows what to fix.
