Add, hide and reorder sections
Control which sections appear on your resume and in what order.
Updated October 8, 2026
The Content panel lists your sections: Personal information, Professional summary, Work experience, Education, Skills, Languages, Certifications, Projects, Volunteering and custom sections.
Section options
- Drag a section by its handle (the dotted icon on the left) to move it, or use Move up / Move down in the section menu.
- Hide from resume: keep the content but leave it off the page. Use “Show on resume” to bring it back.
- Delete section: remove it completely. An undo option appears right after.
- Custom section: add your own heading for anything that does not fit elsewhere.
- References: optional and off by default. Add names and contact details, or show a single “Available on request” line in your resume’s language. The editor tells you what is usual in the country you are applying to.
Each section shows its status, such as “Complete” or “Not started”, so you can see what is left.
Undo and saving
- Changes save automatically. The top bar shows “Saving…” and then “Saved”.
- Undo: Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on Mac). Redo: Ctrl+Y or Ctrl+Shift+Z (Cmd+Shift+Z on Mac).
